Clare De Souza (formerly Pullen) is a graduate of the British School of Osteopathy in London, qualifying in 1990. Having initially worked in the West Midlands area, she spent five years working in Plymouth. Clare has returned to the Midlands,where she has joined us at Summerfield House.   Clare is listed on the statutory Register of Osteopaths, the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC),having satisfied the Registrar that she is a legal, safe & competent practitioner under the conditions of the Osteopaths Act 1993. In the United Kingdom, it is now illegal for an individual to call themselves an Osteopath unless they are entered on the Register. The GOsC’s role is to monitor standards of training and practice, maintaining strict ethical control over its members, thereby protecting the public.
